OmniBack II v3.5 to backup Linux an other non HP-UX systems
I would like to know if there are special clients to backup non-HP-UX systems like Linux, Free BSD. I know there are clients for MS systems.
I am currently using NFS to backup is this my best bet?
Thanks!

Hi Bert,
Have a look at the following link which has the the OmniBack installation and licensing guide. You can dowload it if necessary from http://ovweb.external.hp.com/lpe/doc_serv/ . Pages 85-89 describe the procedure required.

I'm still finding wonderful information on hp's site. Thank you for pointing me to OmniBacks manuals. I found the installation instructions for Linux :)
