One d2d4312 and two msl4048 connection
We have the following hardware.
- Proliant ServerA with 2 port FC.
- d2d4312 with 2 port FC.
- MSL4048-lto4 with 2 port FC.
- MSL4048-lto5 with 2 port FC.
Is the following option possible?
Setup without using FC switch.
ServerA direct attach to d2d4312
d2d4312 direct attach to MSL4048-lto5
ServerA direct attach to MSL4048-lto4
Using DP 6.11 as backup manager on ServerA.
Thank you.

Re: One d2d4312 and two msl4048 connection
Forgot to mention another option is
ServerA direct attach to d2d4312
d2d4312 direct attach to MSL4048-lto5
MSL4048-lto4 connect to FC switch
ServerA connect to FC switch
* because limited FC port on switch.
Which option is better or both will work?
ServerA direct attach to d2d4312
d2d4312 direct attach to MSL4048-lto5
MSL4048-lto4 connect to FC switch

Figured that out by using private loop. I understand the downfall when one of the device is down the loop is broken. tq
