PCIe HBA driver for WinXP
Hi All,
I've recently acquired an HP StorageWorks 1/8 SDLT 320 autoloader, along with an HP 1-ch U320 PCI-E HBA, I have plannned to install this on an Win XP environment, however I couldn't find an Win XP driver for the HBA.
Could you point to the right link in order to get this driver?
Have you ever installed this autoloader to this environment?
Do I have to upgrade to an Win 2K3 enviroment?
Best regards,
Franklin

Re: PCIe HBA driver for WinXP
Hi,
It is not recommended to connect these units to Windows XP, however you might be able to use Server 2003 drivers, but you might suffer serious performance issues, I would recommend reviewing the EBS compatibility Matrix, for drivers and backup software compatible with this unit.
