Personal Media Storage
My Hp Pc has the facility to plug in the Personal Media Storage Drive and was fine when I originally bought it just over a year ago (its always when the warranty runs out isn`t it) Now, when I plug in the PMSD it is not recognised in either My Computer, the Device Manager or Disk Management. It shows up fine when I attach it remotely using the USB cable, but not pluged in the machine direct. I have formatted the drive, used the CD disk that came with the PMSD, checked for updated drivers but to no avail. I am at my wits end, I removed all my music to re format the drive, anyone got any good ideas. I have already followed the HP advice'Media Drive Missing in my Computer' john
