Problem after attempting installation of SDLT

I have a Proliant DL380, with a mirrored pair of disks on the internal array controller - port 2 - (and internal bay) for booting and the OS. I have an external storage system with 7 disks as RAID 5 on a 5300 smart array controller.
I added the SDLT on to the port 1 internal scsi port and can no longer boot or get into the system partition utilities. This continues even when I removed the tape drive. I have set the boot order correctly but it still doesn't work. Any suggestions...please?

Thanks

Craig.

Re: Problem after attempting installation of SDLT

You shold connect drive with cable VHDCI to Wide SCSI if SDLT is Extenal

No recommnend used port in Smart Array 5300. Beacuse the drive SDLT are unit that work slow speed while Array controler worked at high speed
