Anyone have any clues why none of my 4 new DAT 40 drives (HP-UX 11i 7410) are allowing load of what appear to be DAT1 (60') tapes. The tapes come from a third party and some tapes which may be DAT 2 or 3 work fine.
Drive just spits the tape back out. Tape will read if I use an old DDS3 drive.

Hats ? We don't need no stinkin' hats !!
