Problems with SSL2020 and Veritas 8.5
When i install veritas 8.5 with my SSL2020 drive, he only sees it as a single tape device. So no changer... Is there a way to get this machine working within Veritas BackupExec??

Re: Problems with SSL2020 and Veritas 8.5
Hi, this is not a problem with backup exec, you need to set the ssl2020 back to factory defaults from within the front panel, and set scsi id's to 1 for the changer 2 & 3 repectivley for the drives.
On reboot of W2k scsichanger will appear in non plug-play devices.
re-run backup exec.

Re: Problems with SSL2020 and Veritas 8.5
I did what you said, and the changer is seen by Veritas Backup Exec, but when i load a tape from the library to the drive, it says: Unloaded. And keeps saying that. When i do the load/unload i nicely brings the tape back to the library, but the tape device itself doenst seem to recognise it has a tape inserted
