QUANTUM DLT7000 UNCLAIMED

I have a DTL7000 and i just changed it from one machine to another but when i made an ioscan the result was that:

unknown -1 0/8/0/1.0.0 UNCLAIMED UNKNOWN QUANTUM DLT7000
target 20 0/8/0/1.1 tgt CLAIMED DEVICE
unknown -1 0/8/0/1.1.0 UNCLAIMED UNKNOWN HP C6280-7
000

I just wanna know if i need to reboot the machine or made some procedure to solve the problem

Do you have the stape and the schgr driver in the kernel?

Sorry, i was looking for some answer in this forum and saw the same problem. That's right have to made the right changes in the kernel and reboot the machine.
