Storage Boards Cleanup
To make it easier to find information about HPE Storage products and solutions, we are doing spring cleaning. This includes consolidation of some older boards, and a simpler structure that more accurately reflects how people use HPE Storage.

Re: Robotic arm not detected

It is possible your Robotics is not chained properly or is not presented on the SCSI chain.

Re: Robotic arm not detected

And what is your OS?

Is it HPUX? Check then that the schgr driver is added to the kernel?

Is there an NSR router in the library? Check if you see the robot arm from the NSR web admin GUI.

Can you see the robot arm in the OS (ioscan -fnC autoch on HPUX or in the Windows Device Manager)?

Re: Robotic arm not detected

Once you can see the robot arm using ioscan, you might need to create device files for the scsi passthru and/or sctl passthru drivers.
