SCSI Compatibility with SureStore Tape Autoloader 1/9
Will an Adaptec AHA-2944UW be compatible with the SureStore Autoloader 1/9? If not, could you please proved me with an SCSI adapter that will? Thanks.

Yes, it is compatible with the Proton Autoloader.
It comes with the C7738RA HVDS accessory kit. It includes the C6282-82700 HVD SCSI HBA, the Adapter SCSI adapter and the PCI-to-Ultra Wide HVD SCSI.

First you neeed to know which kind of 1/9 you have, there is two model one LVD and one HVD, so you need to use the right host adapter.
the AHA-2944UW is a HVD (use voltages on the scsi bus about 40 volts differential)
if you have a LVD you need to take a LVD host, the Kit have the p/n C7738NB or you can use any LVD host
