SCSI differential

By a mistake, we have bought a SCSI differential adapter with a VHDCI connector but the cable is 68 pins (wide). I'd like to know if it's possible to install it with a SCSI cable non differential (a normal SCSI one). Also if it is possible to use a 68 pins to VHDCI connector with the original cable.
Thank you very much in advance

Re: SCSI differential

You can use a normal SCSI cable for short distances.

Re: SCSI differential

Compaq has the differential cable vhdci to 68 pin. Took us 3 tries. It is not recommended to use different cable. the other choice would to bye the adapter kit that convert single ended to differential great for proliant server with integrated scsi board. also available at compaq.
