SDLT density modification 110/220 --> 160/320
i use an MSL 5052 and i have changed a week ago my two 110/220 tape drives in by two news 160/320 tape drives.
I didn't change my SDLT cartridge and i think that they have still 110/220 density with the news tapes.
can someone give me how i can modify the density to 160/320 GB, i am sure they can accept this size.
Do i need to erase (Long, short,etc) or format the medias.
Thanks for your answer

The only way should be a Degauss.
This operation could be performed by third party company you can found on internet
