SSL1016 magazines jammed
I have inherited an SSL1016 autoloader. It appears that the magazines are stuck in the unit, I cannot remove them no matter what I try. Rebooting/resetting the unit results in it "Initializing" for a while, then it gives up and shows error 0xAE or "jammed tape". I've removed the cover from the unit, but I can't see any tape. What I do see is that the gears on the tape carriage (inside the magazine) appears to be slipping, and the belt is not spinning. Is there any way to force the magazines out (a latch or something I can pop with a screwedriver so I can get them out)?

Re: SSL1016 magazines jammed
if you look at the back of the unit you will found it
The manual tape eject slots are used to allow you to remove the magazines from the autoloader during a power or mechanical failure. A small, sturdy screwdriver is inserted into the slot to release the latch holding the magazine in place.
