Secure Mgr and MSL
Floks,
From CV TL I am getting an error saying that "Secure manger has been disabled beacuse it can't find a path to the devices" and lists all four LTO4 drives. Everything else in the Lib seems ok. The Lib is configured as follows...
4 Dual port FC LTO4 drives, each connected directly to two Brocade 4/64 switches. The Mgmt ports are connected to the Procurve Hub as shipped.
The drives are zoned with the CV server and can be seen from the HBA's.
Scure mge and CV TL licence is installed.
Would be good to here from anyone who has had this or similar issue or any ideas.
Thanks,
D

Re: Secure Mgr and MSL
Ok, first we need to be clear what type of library you have, it has to be either ESL-E or EML-E.
Then, an easy way to recover from that error is doing a "Synchronize Secure Manager" either from CVTL or command prompt of the interface manager (just type "sync sec" command without the quotes).
Now, could you also run the command show firmware revisions to see at what level of firmware you are?

Re: Secure Mgr and MSL
Hi,
I have got this sorted, it was down to the LAN cabling for the management ports on the tape drives.
Thanks for the reply anyway.
