Servers offline in Data Protector
Hello,
On of our clients has a Windows 2003 network with a WIndows 2003 storage server and several Windows 2003 servers,
all with Data Protector.
I upgraded Data Protector from 3.10 to 3.50 on all servers. Now 2 of the servers are offline. Data Protector says
in the network view, the build nr is 25352 instead of 30483, which is installed.
How to solve this?
Kind regards,
Ard Westeneng

Re: Servers offline in Data Protector
I removed Data Protector from all servers, rebooted them an reinstalled Data Ptotector.
All servers except one is OK now.
Before reinstalling, I removed this server from Data Protector.
Now after reinstalling it doesn't comr back.
When I start the software, it says:
============================================
Code: 129 (0x81)
Message: Unable to connect to primary Domain Server instance.
Description:
Data Protector Express is unable to connect to the primary Domain Server instance. Please verify the domain name and IP address are correct and that the Domain Server is running.
