Software Transaction Key for an XCopy Engine
I'm trying to configure an MSL5000 library for a SAN environment. Using HP OV Storage Data Protector Manager to configure an XCopy Engine, the wizard is asking for a device file (scsi address)which is a License Key for my SAN switch (if I got it right) that enables direct backup. In order to obtain this file I must provide HP the following information:
1. World-Wide Name of my SAN switch (I've got it)
2. A Software Transaction Key, which is my problem, because I don't know what it is and how am I going to get it.
So, please help me.

Re: Software Transaction Key for an XCopy Engine
Hi,
From where have you got this. I can't find anything about "Software Transaction Key" in the DP Installing and licensing guide or in the License request form.
If it is HP Licencing centre who ask for this key, they also should be able to tell you where to find it.
