StorageWorks 1/8 Ultrium Autoloader Error Code BD
I am running ArcServe BrightStor 11 on a Windows 2000 with SP4. The changer is connected to an Adaptec AHA-2940U2/U2W card in a Proliant DL360.
Every time I run a backup about 60GB are processed, then an Error Code BD is displayed in the changer panel. The error message on the backup log is E3719 Unable to Write to Media, EC=Hardware Error. Help!

Re: StorageWorks 1/8 Ultrium Autoloader Error Code BD
The definition of your error is:
Autoloader has loaded a cartridge but drive is empty.
Cycle power on the autoloader and attempt the operation again. If the error recurs, contact an HP support representative.
Have you seen in Device configuration if everything is ok?
What firmware versions do you have?

Re: StorageWorks 1/8 Ultrium Autoloader Error Code BD
Thanks for the reply. I did find the error code definition on the web site. The firmware for the changer is H43r. The drive firmware is E33p.
Thanks!

The fw is right.
Is there any errors in ARCserve and Event Viewer?
