Storageworks Ultrium 460 LTO2 drive into a Dell 122t Library?

I would like to put a Storageworks Ultrium 460 LTO2 drive into a Dell 122t Library. All the connections are the same but the library will not recognize the drive. I believe it to be a firmware issue. The library's firmware app would like to use a firmware version of E32K but the drive has a firmware version of F63D. When I try to burn the E32K, I get errors of not using the correct firmware. Does anyone know how to make this work?

The firmware is always checked against the "personality" of the drive, you cannot change this. Only firmware made for a certain drive is installable.
