Strange problem with DLT 2000 drive
I have not seen a message in the forum about my problem. I have a tape stuck in the drive which I am trying to eject. The drive goes through its motions and when it does its high speed rewinding of the tape the drive reboots itself and goes through POST. It then correctly identifies the tape and stops waiting for an instruction. I press the Unload button and the drive repeats the behavior. The leader seems to be okay because the tape can be forwarded and rewound partly. Any ideas on what the problem is and how to fix it? Thanks for any suggestions.
