Re: Sure Store 24e only 12 GB

Hi Eugeny,

so far so good, but little problem, if I turn drive upside down there are no switches!?

Are there differend types of Sure Store 24e?

Where are the switches in my case?

Re: Sure Store 24e only 12 GB

oops... unfortunately I can not check it right now because have no drive... Anyway, DAT drive has switches at its bottom, so if you do not see a hole in the 24e "box" which allows you to access these dip-switches this only means that you need to open case, take away drive and only then you'll be able to access switches
As I know HP ships drives with hw compression turned on

Re: Sure Store 24e only 12 GB

Can't find anything on the DAT24 about jumpers or switches to change the compression; just jumpers for SCSI, think the info is for other than DAT24 model.

The User Guide mentions that some software can disable the HW compression. Very nice info from HP, would like some more detail on that ...
