SureStore LTO - '[138:705] media pool "xxx" contains only 1 free media' message

OS: MS WinNT4 SP6a
OmniBack ver: 4.1

I get the following error

'[138:705] media pool "xxx" contains only 1 free media'

daily because my OMNIBACK database file backup pool only has one tape in it and I don't use the "free pool" to allow the tape to look elsewhere since I only want to use a single tape (plus it gets backed up nightly to the regular backup pool.)

My question is, how do I get rid of the event so that my event log is cleaner?

I read OV-EN007736 technical note but it is a solution for UP-UX whereas I'm running WIndows NT 4 SP 6a. I can't find anything that remotely resembles the files referred to in that article so I'd appreciate a response from a Windows point of view.

Thanks,
Garrett

Garrett,

open the OB GUI and select:

Reporting
Notifications

double click the notification NotEnoughFreeMedia and modify it to your needs. Select your free LTO pool as the media pool to monitor (and not all media pools whicj is the default value). If you want to monitor several media pools, add a notification for each extra media pool you like to monitor for the event 'not enough free media'.

But monitoring your free pool should be sufficient.
