Surestore 6/60 password

Hello,

I have taken over an HP Surestore 6/60 tape library and have no idea what the admin passwd is- is there a way to reset this?

Yes there is a way, just log a call to HP even you have no contract they will help you reseting the password, they need some data from the library in order to do that

the answer is the same: log a call at HP service. They will create a temporary password for you. So you are able to reset your admin password.
