TL891 & CPQ32FS2

I have installed a Storage works TL981 on a ML 370, under NT4 SP5 SSD 2.19A. The server and TL981 have all the latest firmware upgrades.

When using Backup Exec 8.0, I recieve a "The driver detected a controller error on \Device\ScsiPort4. " error and a "The device, \Device\ScsiPort4, did not respond within the timeout period". error in event viewer.

It will backup ok, but should not be recieving the error. Any help please ?

What controller do you have the tape attached ?
What drive are you loading ?
