Storage Boards Cleanup
To make it easier to find information about HPE Storage products and solutions, we are doing spring cleaning. This includes consolidation of some older boards, and a simpler structure that more accurately reflects how people use HPE Storage.

TL891 on Win NT 2000

Hi,
I have a little problem. I bought a TL891 used, but my SCSI card does not see my TL891.
I have no problem during the boot and in Win2000. Everything seem fine.

My configuration is the following:

Pentium III - 256 Mo
SCSI Card SYMBIOS LOGIC 8951U (on SCSI ID 7)
TL891 (Library bus ID = 6, DLT0 bus ID = 5)
Windows 2000 SP4

How can I use my TL891 on Win 2000.
Thanx a lot for your help.

Regards

I believe you need a special SCSI card

Your problem might be because you will need to use a HVD (High Voltage Differential) SCSI adapter, I'm not sure if the Symbios card you have is LVD or HVD.
