Tale Library MSL600 - free pool lost location information about the media

HI,
I have a problem with my recycled medias after moving it to the free pool.
The tapes a listed in the free pool with slot possition. After a day, the free medias are still there but the location in the library has gone. If I make a barcode scan, the tapes are listet with location again.
The hole ting is, that the backup jobs use the free pool. Almost they couldn't run cause no more free medias are available.

The Tape Library is MSL600 or 6000 series?
Which backup software Ur using?
How many tape drive is there?

Can U reboot (not soft reboot) the tape library & then start the backup?

U can also put a new tape free slot and then start the backup...

Hi,
thank you for awnsering.
I have a MSL6000 and using HP Data Protector 5.50.
I have 12 magazines with current 140 tabes.
It doesn't matter if I make a soft or hard rebbot of the tape library.
At the moment the free pool is fine.
The jobs are running correctly.
