Tap 800 GB is 400 GB
I have Tabs with 800 GB as capacity ,but in Data Protector is 400 GB ....
Any idea why ? and thank you in advance

I'm saying that the quoted 800 Gb may only be valid with 2:1 compression, which depends on the data.

While formatting the tape, it will ask you to specify medium size, you need to select "Specify (MB)" as 800 x 1024 = 819200 and select "Force operation" option.
After formatting is done, check tape slots properties, in Usage tab, it will show you 800Gb total capicity.
