If you look at the screen shot it shows
"stape NO_HW" under "Driver S/W State"

I have followed every thing on HP Documentation.
I am waiting to fix this so that I can create bootable backup of the server using make_recovery.
Please note that its application and Oracle DB server running with Service Guard Cluster.

goto sam--> kernel configurations and stape -->check the current state and pending state change it to in in and exit sam and run insf -e and check it out.

I went to http://www.hp.com/products1/storage/compatibility/tapebackup/PA-RISC/index.html
and it shows the tape array is supported with the server.
