Tape Drive not working
I have a HP Colorado 5gb Internal hard drive. Its been working good for years but now I am getting this error.
A tape device has been detected, and the tape drive started. However, the tape device is not responding. Check that tape device power is on and cables are properly connected.
The power button lights up when I put a tape in so it is getting power. Can someone help me with this problem.
Thanks
Justin

Re: Tape Drive not working
Well, a good first step is always to shut down your server and reseat the cables connecting your tape device to the main board or controller.
