Tape drive C1537A firmware upgrade impossible
Hello,
I have installed LTT on our Win2000PC and I have downloaded all the different versions of the firmware I could find on the HP website.
When I try to use LTT to upgrade the firmware, it refuses, saying "no matching file" and giving a "wrong prefix" in the "selectable" column of the LTT, for all the versions of the firmware.
Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks.

Did you try with a hammer?

Re: Tape drive C1537A firmware upgrade impossible
Magnee,
please generate LTT support ticket for this device and go through it. Does it display correct inquiry string for the drive? Any other things may look wrong? Check if LTT downloaded firmware files are not corrupt (they are in c:\Program Files\HP StorageWorks Library and Tape Tools\firmware directory). If you wish attach this support ticket to your next reply zipped
