What are the tape drive model?
tape 16 7/1/0.6.0 stape CLAIMED DEVICE HP C1537A
tape 10 1/1/0.5.0 stape CLAIMED DEVICE HP C1533A
I cannot find any doc related with C1537A & C1533A.
What is the maximum capacity of tapes that the drives can support? Besides can you show me pages that are related with tape drives? Any matrix?
Thanks

Re: Tape drive model
The C1537A is the SCSI Inquiry String of the DAT mechanism. The overall part number is C155xA.
look at this URL:

Re: Tape drive model
C1533A is DDS2 mechanism having native capacity on 120m tape C5707A 4GB and 8GB with compression ratio 2:1.
You can use DDS2 tape in DDS3 drive but not vice versa

Re: Tape drive model
DDS-2/3/4 has 'DDS-2/3/4' logo on front pannel.
Also can use stm/xstm/mstm from Support Tools ->Run Information Log - it will show some more details about hardware (firmware revision, compression supported etc).
/usr/sbin/stm (xstm,cstm,mstm).
Also this link " http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Product.jsp%3FprodTypeId%3D12169%26prodCatId%3D64247%26locale%3Den_US " has a search field
where you can put product number.
Regards,
