Throughput??

We are currently using Arcserve 6.5 to perform our daily backups which amount to some 70 GB. Our DLT Library II is configured with two dlt 35/70 drives. Our average throughput is 128MB MB/min, which amounts to some 7.6 GB/hr. The user guide states that the typical throughput is 18-36 GB/hr. We are using compression. Is anyone experiencing higher throuhputs on this library?
