Ultrium 2 tape drive, in a ESL9322 library, have a unstable status in M2402
Hello
I have a ESL9322 tape Library with two Ultrium2 tape drives and a M2402 Fc-SCSII brige. The FC-SCSII is connected between the ESL9322 and a SANswitch, witch also connects a EVA and several HPUX and Solaris systems.
One of my problem is that the second drive in ESL9322 that are connected to SCSI bus2 on the M2402 is unstable. The status change from connected to not connected any time... and i dont know why. Anybody who knows ?
The first drive and the robotic arm witch are connected on bus3 is stable.
I also have installed OV dataProtector 5.1 on a hpux11.11 system. Not all of my tape davice files are of type 0m, 1m and so on but have a strange name something like 0d3fBest. Sanscan delivered with dataprotector do not recognise this strange device name as a tape drive. How can i fix it to be a tape drive with usefull device name for sanscan ??
Best Regards Rune Myrhaug
