I am not able to eject the tape from my device.
HP test with software 3.5 tells "insert tape in drive".
MMC console does not see any tape.
I already tried with reset button.
O.S. Windows 2000SP4
Firmware: Last revision
Thanks a lot for your answer

Re: Ultrium 215 internal - tape not ejected
Try the following things in the link below. If these do not work, then generate a support ticket using LTT, zip it up and attach it to a reply here.
Cheers,
Dave Dewar

SolutionDid you check the support ticket yourself?
"
Cartridge Serial Number: 1160178255
There were unrecoverable write errors while writing to tape 1160178255.
The drive write/read performance is sub-optimal.
However, the same tape (Serial Number: 1160178255) was used when this was last reported.
Please try using a new tape.
The drive logs indicate that this drive needs cleaning.
Please clean the drive with an unexpired cleaning tape.
"
The drive reports a bad write error rate.
I see that it reports a high number of read errors on different media.
Have you tried new media?.
If so you should call HP support as it then could be a worn-out drive...
Regards,
Arend

Re: Ultrium 215 internal - tape not ejected
I read the support ticket, it is for this we ordered new tapes.
The tape inserted made not more than 50 full backups, I think they are not too many.
In the meanwhile it should be useful to eject the tape.
However, HP sent me a unit in replacement. I want to thank you for your collaboration.

Re: Ultrium 215 internal - tape not ejected
Looks like there was a slight mix up with support tickets here, Yvo's support ticket in a thread below is the one with the poor write performance.
Marco, your ticket does indeed indicate a "stuck tape". If you have been unable to remove it using the forced eject and reset button techniques in link above then that sugegsts you have experienced a "dropped leader", quite rare for LTO drives. Your only option is to exchange the drive. If you need to keep your tape for data security reasons, there is a manual eject mechanism you can try. It is activated by turning the white plastic cog wheel on base of unit in one corner.
Please check you media handling, as dropped leaders can quite often be due to damaged cartridges with misplaced leader pins being used.
I have included a link below that explains media handling and what to check for below.
