Ultrium 215i
My question is i m using ultrium drive 215i for backup i receive a problem when i want to take back it will stop after 1% and 2% and ready light stop to blink and no error message coming but when you see graph in tape ware software the graph is running but no backup.
configuration of others things is using adaptec card 29160
OS = windows XP (SP1)
Software = Tapeware
System = Compaq Branded EVO
Firmware = N26D
When we take test through library tool this is 100% no error give.
now what should i do.

Hi,
I am not sure about that the drive is the problem, It may be a software problem or a problem with the server as well. Is it possible for you do do any of the following ?
- Try with a different drive.
- Try to back up a different filesystem or only a part of the filesystem.
- Try the drive on a different server.
- Try a different backup software.

Hi,
Perhaps an update Tapeware Service pack might help you, as of this moment there are three available service pack you can able to use. Also, if it's possible try to re install your backup software together with update service pack.You can find all this SP's @ tapeware.com.
