Ultrium 3000 on Red Hat ES 5.5 64 Bit with P212 HBA
I am trying to install an Ultrium 3000 on a P212 HBA controller that is installed in a ML350 G6. The controller and tape drive show during boot but Red Hat ES 5.5 does not show the tape drive in the /proc/scsi/scsi file.
I have already loaded the latest firmware updates and the latest cciss driver.
Any ideas on what to try next?

Look if your tape is in the supported list:
http://h18000.www1.hp.com/products/quickspecs/13203_na/13203_na.html
Refer to this page:
http://www.hp.com/products1/storage/compatibility/tapebackup/ISS/Detail/16-0068-0192.html
Consider to use HP LTT to check!
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
