Ultrium 448 External Tape Drive, tape ejects, TAPE LED Blinks

I have HP Proliant DL380 G4, OS:Linux Enterprise Linux 4, and External HP Ultrium 448 Tape Drive, which ejects HP LTO2 media after 1 minutes. On inserting the media the tape unloads partially then takes in again, repeats the same proces 2-3 times and finally ejects leaving the TAPE Led blinking ORANGE and READY Led solid Green glowing.

Could you please try downoading Library and Tape Tools (L&TT), and then pulling a support ticket. Then please post the ticket on this thread.

You can get L&TT from www.hp.com/support/tapetools

The support ticket should allow us to see why the drive is ejecting the tapes. Does this happen with multiple pieces of media?
