Ultrium 460 & ArcServe 2000 NT
Hi everybody
Using Arcserve 2000 NT sp4 on a windows 2000SP3 server, the log file receive sometimes the following error message "E3714 Unable to write to media. (MEDIA=EXT INCR-1, EC=ILLEGAL COMMAND)".
i figured out it's a problem with the media but it's a new one.
Anybody have an idea of what's the meaning of the message ?

Re: Ultrium 460 & ArcServe 2000 NT
Hi,
Try enabling the tape.log via the asadmin GUI while it is running the bad tape if you have the time. Use the time stamp to locate the specific error. This general message can be generated by a number of issues.

Try upgrading the SCSI driver version.
