Re: Ultrium 960 Firmware update from G64D to G66D
No, sorry. Windows is not an option.
Also, another LTT session is not running. I am the only human working on this station and have neither a split personality nor just forgotten to close one session ;)
May oracle secure backup block the ltt tool?

Re: Ultrium 960 Firmware update from G64D to G66D
You earlier posted the HTML format of the ticked, so it was working. But the LTT format is much more helpful.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: Ultrium 960 Firmware update from G64D to G66D
Thank you for answering.
Sure, i would delete this file for myself, if i know where to look for. Also the name is unknown to me.
I seem to be blind, because i also have not a single clue where i have posted a html file in this forum...
Sorry, but your words are a little confusing to me.

Re: Ultrium 960 Firmware update from G64D to G66D
In my 5th reply (without the initial posting), i just send the plain .ltt file.
Hopefully this enables someone to point me to the correct direction.
But still, there is no HTML and no plain text hint about the file which should be deleted to enable the firmware update.

"...
Error in creating a directory '/tmp/ltt_tool/misc' - Error Num:17"
Hope this helps!

Re: Ultrium 960 Firmware update from G64D to G66D
Thank you for translating this error. Yes, this directory is empty. But what is Error Number 17?
As i have choosen 2 times different locations(first the default with all files set to chmod 777, second the fresh created /tmp/ltt_tool/), it was at least the 2nd time not there before and should have been filled up.
Btw: is there some tool where i can see theese error messages in plain text? For me, theese .ltt file is nearly unreadable.
At the moment, I am not able to translate this:
10:4:4:40:3:3:42:1:1:PlainText:Deleting perl log file failed; errno is 2:1252:0
10:1:5:18:0:0:0x80000130:1305018638:1305018638:0:1:8:0:0
10:2:5:40:1:4:2034:4:0:0
10:3:5:40:2:4:41:1:1:s_system:common:enu
10:4:5:40:3:4:42:1:1:Filename:/tmp/ltt_tool/misc:1252:0
10:5:5:40:4:4:43:1:1:ErrorNum:17:0:0
into
"Error in creating a directory '/tmp/ltt_tool/misc' - Error Num:17".
I have to juggle with more HP Tape devices in the near future, so some more information
could avoid more tickets :)
But still: what would you suggest me to do for solving this error?

Re: Ultrium 960 Firmware update from G64D to G66D
This tool will also analyze this file.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
