Where did this error display, screen/log file?
Anyone for a Mutiny ?

....whoops, didnt know that went out, awkward typing position, excuse the spelling, will continue with this thread to save creating a new.

Problem : Restore consistently fails.

Log Reports : Library & Test media validation test logs an unrecoverable I/o error : SCSI Read command timed out.

I've attached a L&T support ticket with system information.
