Unable to create a boot image with DPE
I can't create a boot image or backup data recovery data with DPE 3.1 SP3 on Windows 2003 Standard Server SP1. Problem seems to be about an inexistant registry key (i8042prt). This driver is not installed because keyboard and mouse are managed by HID drivers.
Any idea?

Re: Unable to create a boot image with DPE
Hi Serge,
I believe this is a known issue that has been addressed in the lastest service pack (SP4) of Data Protector Express 3.1. Here's the direct link to the service pack download page on HP's website:
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareIndex.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodNameId=1144275&prodTypeId=12169&prodSeriesId=1144272&swLang=8&taskId=135&swEnvOID=1005
Hope this helps,
Russell

Re: Unable to create a boot image with DPE
Great! SP4 corrects effectively this problem.
Thanks for your help,
Serge
