Unable to detect Tape Library

Hi,

I have installed an HP StorageWorks MSL6000 Tape Library on fabric. I am unable to detect it from my server which is an HP BL460c running Windows Server 2003 standard, also connected to the fabric. I plan to run HP Data protector 6 for backups. Any ideas?

Did you configure the mapping in the NSR?

Are you using zoning ? If so do you have a zone with your MSL and the blade server in it ??

Is there a switch involved in between. Or is the library directly connected to the Blade servers.
