Unable to see TL891 mini library

Hi,
we have a Proliant 8500R, with a 5300 array controller. Attached to this on port 1 is a TL891DLX mini library, with 2 DLT drives in it. Port 2 of the 5300 has an external disk array - the enclosure is in the 4300 series. We cannot get the server to see the tape library. On boot up a message similar to "SCSI Controller port 9 bus 1 - external storage enclosure not responding" is displayed.

It is terminated correctly - this has been checked. When I load the TSMC and run it, the server blue screens. Any ideas? ( I suspect the cable but we don't have a spare - is there any way of proving the cable ).

Problem solved by upgrading all systems drivers and array drivers in NT4 via ssd 2.22a ( previously had ssd 2.19a on )......
