Unable to see past MDR on Switch 16
Dual KGPSA Fibre HBA on Windows 2000 Compaq server. Attached to Compaq SAN Switch 16. Zoning in place, only this server can see the MDR. Set TL891 library to Library ID1, DLT0=2 and DLT1-3. Unable to see anything beyound the MDR. Cannot see the library at all and certainly not the drives. This is true of the TSMC and ArcServe 2000 (Library and SAN option installed also). Also running SecurePath V3.1. The second HBA is connected to a different switch fabric.
Any assistance appreciated as this is causing a major headache!

Re: Unable to see past MDR on Switch 16
Heres a valuable lesson:
Found that customer had mixed LVD/SE MDR module with TL891 HVD. No wonder could not see any SCSI devices. Have replaced the LVD/SE SCSI module options in the MDR's with HVD options, works fine!!
