Unable to use tape drive.
I currently have a TZ89 tape drive that is showing as MOUNTED DISMOUNT ALLOC FOREIGN.
The tape process is no longer active, and the user has removed the tape manually. How do I clear this tape drive for use?

Re: Unable to use tape drive.
Try a firmware flash or disconnect from teh server, and powercycle (if external unit)

Re: Unable to use tape drive.
We opted to reset the SCSI address and do an IO AUTO. That worked.
Thanks
