Upgrade firmware error with HP_LTT
When I try upgrade firmware LTO G2 Ultrium 920, I obtain a message after 8 images transferred :
SCSI Write Buffers failure.
I have the latest version of the upgrade package.
I have tried with an older version and I obtain the same message but later.

Re: Upgrade firmware error with HP_LTT
You need to stop all backup software services in order to upgrade firmware but you can also upgrade firware using RMI (Remote Manager Interface) it is faster this way just go to the OCP (operator control Panel) Configuration >>> Configure Network Settings

Re: Upgrade firmware error with HP_LTT
Hi,
There could be many reasons why you are receiving this error. Could you attach the EventLog.ltt & ResultLog.ltt? I would be able to root cause the issue.
Ideally, this issue occurs when there is a data corruption along the data path. It could be either due to the cable, driver, etc.
Regards,
Satya
