VS80e on Netware 3.12 using backup exec 7.5

Hello,

I am trying to get HP surestore DLT tape drive up and running on the Netware 3.12 server using a 2940U2 controller. The controller can see the drive just fine. Scan for SCSI drives also finds the tape drive just fine. However Backup Exec for Netware 7.5 is unable to do so. When I run bediag /s /c ( to scan for all tape drives) Backup Exec finds the SCSI controller but not the tape drive attached to it.

Any ideas here would help. I have gone through all tech notes so far from veritas with no luck.

Go to veritas.com, select Compatibility Lists\Backup Exec\Backup Exec for NetWare\Backup Exec for NetWare Version 7.5\DLT Drives\ and see if your tape drive is in the list. If not, fuhget aboud it.
