W2k3 and HP DAT72

I have a problem with HP DAT72 internal drive on server with MS Win 2003 Server. When I use driver provided by HP (hpdat.sys), then the RSM doesn't recognize any tape loaded into the drive.
When I use driver provided by MS (4mmdat.sys) RSM is able to recognize DDS3 and DDS4 media, but not DDS5 media.
I use SCSI adapter Adaptec AHA-3940 family.
Does anybody have any idea?
