Okay, it seems that an LTO would not be suitable for this server, which as far as I can tell, would not fit in the enclosure anyway.
I guess a DDS4 would be okay, but would require two to three tapes to get full backups. Is there another device that would fit in the enclosure and would backup around 70GB native (DLT perhaps)?
Remember I am primarily looking for a device which will plug into the C4317A that can backup all the data. The second choice would be to get a self-standing device or one along with tape array depending on cost. The other alternative would be like I said, to replace the DDS3 with a DDS4.
