Windows 2000 Backup

Hi all

Is there any way of getting Backup to dismount the tape (Compaq 40/80 DLT) automatically. So that when the next day's tape is loaded RSM picks it up?
Or will I Have to write a Backup script using the RSM Eject/Refresh commands to update the device?
It is definitely Backup clinging onto the tape because if I start from scratch RSM will happily update each time the tape is changed. Until Backup is run and then things go pear shaped.
