Windows 2000 shows "blue screen" when strarts with TL 891 DLX turned on

Please anyone help! System: ML 370, TL891 DLX with 2 DLT8000 drives, 64-Bit/66MHz Dual Channel Wide Ultra3 SCSI Adapter, Windows 2000 Adv. Server.
After pure instalation, during the last reboot before first login system shows "blue screen" with info, that there is a problem with adpu160m.sys But systems works when I turn TL891 DLX off! I checked cabling, used Smart Start 4.90, upgraded the newest system ROMpaq and SCSI adapter BIOS but the problem remains.

Thanks for any tips or help,

/Igor

This unit uses low voltage differential (LVD) scsi host adapter. It will not be recognized by the on-board scsi controller. Use either of these controllers in your system:
64 bit dual channel Wide Ultra II LVD SCSI Adapter Compaq P/N 348757-B21
or 64 bit 66 MHz dual channel dual channel Wide Ultra III LVD SCSI Adapter
Compaq P/N 129803-B21

Hope this helps!

Re: Windows 2000 shows "blue screen" when strarts with TL 891 DLX turned on

We do have the same problem. I've update to the last Rompaqs and drivers also. But when I use and old driver for the adpu160m.sys this system doesn't crash. In that case Arcserve doesn't work properly. Our hardware configuration:
ML370, 64Bit/66Mhz Dual Channel Wide Ultra SCSI Adapter.
I'll contact my supplier for a LSD Adapter and see if it works.

Re: Windows 2000 shows "blue screen" when strarts with TL 891 DLX turned on

The 'old' driver for the 64-Bit/66MHz Dual Channel Wide Ultra3 SCSI Adapter does stop the blue screens (CP000193). I am using Backup Exec 8.5, and so far dont have any issues. Thanks
